| Camping Generator |
This is one of the best camping generators in my book. Why? Because I own one,and bring it in,and in more cases than not take the time to portage it in,into some of the remote camp spots I choose to kick my feet up.
Yea..yea..yea.A short portage perhaps,and my boat does most the job hauling,hitting some of my hot spots on some of the lakes up this way. It's a kick-arse generator for camping.
Whether next to your car,or taking the time to haul it in.This baby has what it takes to bring in the good stuff,that makes camping all that more enjoyable.
I like this one because is has power,and weighs about 45 pind,not counting the gas of course you'll need. It will run everything from your laptop,to fans,and a small air conditioner for your tent. It can run everything,and I also bring in a marine cell battery I charge up,and in some cases two marine batteries.
I like being covert,and breaking that habit because this generator is super dam quiet...Quiet as can be,and can talk with another just a few feet away from it without raising your voice when maxed out. Dam quiet!!
I have a small camping air conditioner for a tent,just a tiny one for a pretty good sized cabin tent. Hot,or humid at night,and believe me we all have those nights,or better siad past experiences when it's just to damn hard to sleep. A person just lays their,and suffers.No wind,no breeze,just stagnant air that hoovers above a person when they sleep.
This camping generator takes all that suffering away,and I'm a cozy cool for that matter,when I have this thing along.
I camp on some of the lakes up here in the northern part of the state,and I bring this along and portage it in my boat,and I camp right on the lake. I have a small TV/DVD player I bring along,a fan just to have a breeze if it aint that warm,and a small camping AC that weighs 10 pounds. I bring my computer laptop,and even a bear wire electric fence,but that takes no juice,because I use a charged marine battery for that.
We have problems with bears at times,and I just assume sleep with both eyes closes,because I'm always so exhausted at the end of the night while out in the bush.
The fresh air,the extra bending over,the beer,and filling food takes a toll on this old fart,and that's why I love having a good camp generator along.I love having a good night sleep,and having a small to mid size generator for camping..Heck,who could ask for more?
I bring a 5 gallon gas tank along,and if I need more..I go get more. That lasts me 3-4 days,because I watch movies,check my e-mail,and stay cool at night,and some nights the fan is all I need.
